The course is aimed at people who own their own Digital Single Lens Reflex Camera and would like to learn techniques that can be applied to making portraits of people.
The course is suitable for those who own a digital SLR camera and would like to learn about the many ways of creating effective portraits and, perhaps as a way of establishing a small business. Additionally this course would be suitable for employers looking to train staff in the use of DSLR cameras, where such knowledge may be beneficial to their business or organisation.
This course should been seen as a progression from the ‘DSLR – Beginners’ course also offered at Blackburn College.
STUDENTS MUST BRING THEIR OWN EQUIPMENT TO THE SESSIONS.
The college operates a no refunds policy as detailed below. Cancellations and transfer requests are subject to the following conditions:
· More than 4 weeks notice - no charge
· 4 weeks notice - 30% of the cost
· 2-3 weeks notice - 50% of the cost
· 1-2 weeks notice - 75% of the cost
· Less than 1 weeks notice - 100% of the cost
All cancellations must be made in writing and are subject to a £20 administration charge. The full fee’s policy is available on request.

possess an adequate level of English to understand the course content,
including verbal and written content/exams.
• You understand the
fees policy outlined above, including any charges which may occur should you
request a transfer/cancellation.
• You accept
responsibility for full payment of all fees due in respect of the programme(s)

completion of this form limits the College’s liability in terms of losses
suffered by the learner in the event of the College breaking its agreement with
the learner. The College reserves the right to alter class times/dates for each
